By tracking social media content via API and linking posts that reference weddings such as, “Can’t wait to be a bridesmaid” and, ”Getting married in 3 months”, references to the big day and searches for alternative wedding products; the brand were then able to send out highly targeted emails and postcards on a weekly basis to those individuals fitting the customer segmentation.

The Results: 

This targeted campaigning generated regular income and raised the profile of the brand as a go-to retailer for wedding shoes. Social media listening allowed the brand to deliver the right content, to the right customers, using personal
channels of communication.
