What to expect:
- Nearly 70% of Gen Z and Millennials are actively looking to engage with brands with a clear sustainable mission this year
- 72% plan to rely on incentives like Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but 55% of Silver Surfers are unlikely to get involved in holiday sales
- Total retail sales volumes fell by 1.9% in 2020, while online sales rose to a record high of 33.9% as a share of all retail spending
